33 Weeks

Less than two months until our baby boy arrives! The nesting is starting to settle in as I think about all the things we need to do to prepare for his debut, but not much more than thinking is actually taking place. The current plan is to leave the guest room/office for Tim until the baby is about six months old. I'm missing designing a nursery, but it also makes preparation easier.
We had a doctor appointment last week and my belly is still measuring right on track. Baby's heart rate measured at 135 bmp. Addie enjoys hearing his heartbeat at the appointments and now likes listening to the heartbeat option on her sound machine at home. She often puts her hand on my tummy and says, "moving" since she's been able to feel him move a few times. Sometimes when we get in the car she says, "go see baby brudda," because she's used to going to my O.B. appointments every couple weeks.

Here's what our baby is up to this week, according to Baby Center:

This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds and has passed the 17-inch mark (about the size of a pineapple). He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal.

Viewing pics of my pregnancy with Addie, I'm confident my belly is bigger this time around (or at least it looks like it!). To me, it appears my tummy is larger now, at 33 weeks, than it was at 37 weeks with Adeline...yikes! Seven more weeks means I'm going to be sporting one GIANT belly! The first image below was taken today, and the following three are from my first pregnancy.
