With Mandy on our wedding day
Tonight, Tim and I are heading to Rio Rancho, NM (outside of Albuquerque). We're going to visit my friend, Mandy, and to celebrate her son's birthday. The drive should take us about 5 hours. We haven't seen Mandy since our wedding, almost three years ago now.  And the last time we saw her son he was only one year old. We'll get in late tonight, have a small party for Kalen on Saturday and then head back to El Paso on Sunday afternoon. A quick trip, but it's nice we have the opportunity to see her and her family. Hopefully it doesn't wear Tim out too much as he's been worked to the bone this week and probably just wants to sit on the couch and veg all weekend. He's a good sport to let us keep this trip, as we've been planning it since February.

I'll return to blogging on Monday. Have a good weekend!
