Preparing for Sisterhood

I've heard about toddlers having baby intuition before, and Adeline might have felt the same sixth sense. While letting her play with the self-recording feature on my phone, I captured this video (before telling her about the baby growing in my belly). So maybe it's just coincidence, but I like to think she was talking to her brother or sister =).
And lately, she been practicing her caretaker skills. First, she started by patting her baby doll on the back and washing her in the tub. Now, she's taking care of the pups, too. They're such good sports, especially our dear Wilma! Fortunately, or unfortunately, I didn't get video of Addie hitting a curb and Wilma falling out of the shopping cart--poor dog! Zu endured the same fate as well, but forgave Addie and let her take the leash the rest of the way home.
Lately, she's gets very excited when it's time to water the flowers, following me around as I use our large watering can. Today, I remembered that I had a small watering can just her size, that I used in my last classroom. She was all too happy to nurture the plants (maybe to the point of death, since she kept watering the herbs over and over and over). But I'm hoping you can't drown a plant in El Paso.
All in all, I think her self preparations for sisterhood are coming along quite nicely =). Keep it up girl!
