Connection & Accountability 

​Our Bible study group is a great place to meet new friends and develop relationships with women who will listen lovingly but also hold you accountable to God's Word. 

Bible Study 

To love God, we must know God. Each week we will examine the Scriptures, verse by verse, looking for God's truth and seeking to follow His direction for our lives.

Worship & Prayer 

​We begin each gathering by sharing our praises from the week. Prayer is also essential to our time together as it's our direct communication with God. We open and close in prayer as well as take individual prayer requests.

Here is What You Get with Bible in a Year Club:
  • CONSISTENCY: BYC is designed for the entire group to stay on pace with each other for community and accountability (if you wish for a self paced program, Bible Recap may be better!). Our motto is “start where we are”! You’ll learn to let go of perfectionism and stay on track with the day’s reading, not letting a few missed days get you down.
  • HABIT FORMATION: BYC is focused on building the habits necessary to follow through on diligent Bible reading. All we need is a little training on habit formation, consistency, and discipline to overcome our perfectionistic mindset. This program will teach you to let go of perfectionism and find consistency!
  • COMMUNITY: We have switched from Teachable to Circle as the hub of course content. Circle is an incredible platform that is intuitive and easy to use. There is an app for iPhone users (not Android) and desktop is another easy, simple way to access it. All discussion, lectures, and videos are in Circle; no need for Facebook or any other apps!
  • UNIQUE FOCUS: This year we will continue reading through the Bible chronologically (in the order the events occurred in history) but will focus on the promises of God in Scripture! Each week, we will read through the Bible with eyes open to the promises of God and how to live them out in our own lives. 
  • RESOURCES: Each month you receive the reading plan, a summary of the upcoming content, tips for studying according to your learning style, and a list of optional additional resources (videos, podcasts, sermons, articles, maps) to aid your study.
  • The CONFIDENCE and ACCOMPLISHMENT that come with reading the whole Bible in a year! If you’ve never done it… it will change your life! You’ll read books of the Bible you were intimidated to read, learn how the events of Scripture fit together, and grasp the BIG story of the gospel over our 365 days in the Word.

​​I'm so happy you're here! You are a beloved child of God with a meaningful story to tell and a calling to answer. I pray that while you visit my little corner of the world you discover that there is hope in the midst of your struggles, and it's found in the Scriptures. 

I'm a military wife, homeschooling mama, author, Down syndrome advocate, and nationally recognized educator whose deepest desire is to help you cultivate a loving relationship with Jesus.
