A Mama Must-See

I never made it around to posting about Mother's Day this year, so this comes a tad late.

We started the morning with a family breakfast at a beautiful resort in town, Westward Look. Now, I've never been a fan of Tucson (although my hubby is in love with it), but one thing I truly appreciate is the plethora of gorgeous resorts. They're always perfect for a quick staycation or an upscale meal. I ordered a monster breakfast burrito packed with just about everything you can imagine, which was no match for this nursing mama's appetite (much to my family's disbelief). I could absolutely live on breakfast burritos alone, another thing Tucson has going for it. After breakfast we took some pictures with the family and enjoyed the flowering grounds.

The only thing I wanted for Mother's Day was the children to take a nap in between our family get togethers! Holidays get a little chaotic around here since both our families are in town and sometimes it's hard to keep the kiddos functional amidst all the activity. With a nap considered, things are a little more promising. So, after a catnap we enjoyed time with Tim's family. For dinner, we ordered out my favorite Mexican cuisine.--El Molinito. Best. Mexican. Food. Ever! When we lived in El Paso my mom brought us beans, chips, and salsa from this restaurant every month. What are we going to do when we move to New York?! Luckily, I found out my favorite local tortilla joint now ships across the nation, thank God. I digress.

In my email on Mother's Day was this funny and touching video, made by American Greetings. I know every mama can relate. I think I even cried =).  Happy Belated Mother's Day to all. I pray you feel appreciated and loved all year long.
