A Stay-At-Home Mom's Schedule

Every once in awhile I find myself asking "what do I do with this kid?" Passing the time as a stay-at-home mom with a toddler is quite the challenge. Filling your day (and really, your child's) from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. forces you to get inventive. If I'm having a "good mom" day, I channel in my former teacher-self and vary activities frequently so she doesn't get bored. Because when she gets bored, that's when her inner diva appears. If Addie's happy with an activity, we stay there as long as she likes, minus television...most of the time. Let me tell you, not all days are ideal. Today, we spent way too much time in front of the tube since I could barely watch Adeline, due to my dreaded all-day morning sickness. However, a typical day is compromised of the following activities. I find that the structure keeps us both entertained and happy.

“About 11 years ago, [Sycamore Services] purchased a local printing company that used to be on Main Street in Danville with the idea that it would bring some money into the coffers. The money that we make here goes directly to support the services at Sycamore.”
