Addie's First UA Game

Friday was a big day for Addie (but really more so for Tim) as she attended her first U of A football game. The previous home games have been too late for her to attend, but she was able to make the homecoming game. We got to the stadium just in time to see the fireworks and team entrance. Addie was captivated by all the lights, music, and people. She kept saying, "football game," and "I need more popcorn." She also enjoyed enthusiastically clapping, following the lead of the crowd.

Around 8 P.M. Addie started to get tired, climbing into my lap and resting her head on my shoulder. We headed out of the stadium right before half time to get Addie home and in bed. If I can sit through another game, at almost 9 months pregnant, I know she'd enjoy being a part of the U of A fan base again. Just one of tens or hundreds of games I'm sure she'll attend...if her dad has anything to do with it!
