An Ashcraft Baby

Our baby girl is definitely an Ashcraft! Tonight I attended a concert at the Gaslight Theater in Tucson and she was moving the ENTIRE time. I've never felt her kick that consistently for that length of time. Our friend, Charlie, performed with his band and the show was phenomenal. Along with the healthy meal of popcorn, pizza, and ice cream, the soul tunes really had her going. We all know she'll be playing an instrument (or five) one day, or maybe singing will be her heart's content. It was fun to wonder what she'll choose to play. Tim would like to start her on the piano when she's old enough. I don't have a musical bone in my body, so it looks like she's taking after her daddy in that department!

That is exactly how Andrew was in utero! Anytime music was playing, he was rocking out and he still has that love of music and dancing!

Ashley, I wouldn't say you don't have musical talent. You certainly have an appreciation and have suggested some great pieces for our concerts. So glad you and Tim will nurture your baby's musical talents. Music is proving to be more and more important in the latest brain research. Maybe she will be able to sing duets with Andrew! Amy sings to Andrew all the time I understand.
