Bonding Time

11/19/2013

My two favorite people have had some excellent bonding time over the past month. Luckily, Tim is home most of the day, only having to go into work for physical training in the morning, followed by a quick trip home for breakfast and then back to work for a couple hours. We usually have him all to ourselves by noon. He happily shares in Adeline's feedings, making her meals, changing her diapers and numerous outfits, playing with her, giving her baths, and putting her to bed. I certainly know how fortunate I am to have such an involved hubby!

The two share a love for food, legos, and...more food! Many of their captured moments involve eating =). She also enjoys "flying", practicing walking, and playing outside with her dad. She's still a mama's girl, and I'm not sure how different that would be at this stage even if he hadn't deployed, but she's getting used to Tim a little more each day. I love watching her smile when he comes home and the hugs and kisses she carefully gives out here and there. Below are pictures of Tim and Addie over the last couple of weeks. I'd sincerely appreciate your continued prayers for their bonding as father and daughter!

What a gift, Dear Ones, for Addie when she grows up and for all those who love her AS she grows up. You THREE are a miracle yourselves, and I am blessed and honored to share in your lives.
Love from Wally and me!
