Book Lover

I love my little book lover! As a bookaholic myself, I get so much joy out of watching her embrace a love of reading. Almost every week I take her to a local bookstore that hosts a toddler time which includes music, story time, snacks, and a craft. It's a blast to watch her thrive, explore, and learn during this playtime. 

At home, we read randomly throughout the day, before her nap and again before bedtime. Tim and I usually take turns reading Addie books, but now she's thrown herself in the mix. Just about every night she asks me (sometimes politely) to move off the chair, saying "Addie read book." She knows several of her books well enough to "read" them herself and it's so cute to watch her interact with the pages. I hope Addie's current interest in reading holds strong for all her life!
