When I was pregnant with Adeline I was SURE she would have my crazy, frizzy, adventuresome hair.  I started going curly at four months old, but with Addie, four months came and went without sign of curls. In all honesty, I was happy for her! This hair isn't the easiest to tame and unfortunately, it's not the 80's anymore, leaving curly hair outside the realm of trendy. A few months ago Adeline's curls started to show up on the scene. First, a little wave here and there and now she's sporting ringlets in the back. I hope she gets a combo between Tim's hair and my hair--she'd have perfect wavy hair.

Now that we think we might be having a boy, we can probably expect a fro. Boys typically inherit the mother's father's hair and that means a head full of tight curls for our little one =). My dad's also 6'2" so Tim jokes that his son will look nothing like him--tall and curly, ha. But maybe not, Addie's hair surprised us, for the first 15 months anyway.
Still straight -- 13 mo
First sign of curls -- 15 mo
Wavy hair--18 mo
