After trying five different churches, we may have finally found a church home in El Paso. Today we attended Cielo Vista, a non-denominational church with contemporary worship services. It's a pretty big church (offering four different services). We attended the noon one and will try the young married couples before that service next week. I attended the women's bible study a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it. They have a nice nursery for when baby comes and there are lots of ministries available to get involved in. The only downside is that it's about 25 minutes away, but so is everything else since we live on a newly developed side of town. Today, they had a July 4th celebration and brought in talent from Nashville to perform, so we'll have to see what the music is like on a normal Sunday. After next Sunday we should be able to decide if we've finally found our church. Let's hope! Tim and I really miss the community and accountability that being part of a church offers. We need this to finally make El Paso feel like home.
