Gymboree

Last week I started looking into "mommy and me" type classes in the area. The only one I could find that works with her nap schedule is Gymboree. I registered for a free class today and the website ended up having the wrong class list, but Adeline still had a ball! There was only one other boy there who was two years old. Addie loooved playing with the variety of instruments. At first she just sat there shaking a bell and then she began crawling and shuffling through all the instruments. At the end of the class there were several songs for the kids to sing and play along. The first one had to do with bubbles and the teacher blew all different sizes of the bubbles for the kids to play with. Adeline did an excellent job at popping them. After that there was a song with a parachute. At first she sat on the end and watched but by the end of the song she crawled in the middle and played. The only bad part was when we had to leave--she did NOT want to go! I might have had even more fun just watching the joy it brought her. Pretty sure we'll be getting a membership! They offered us another free class since the schedule was wrong so we'll check it out again next Tuesday.
