Happy 4 Months, Lincoln

Our little guy isn't so little anymore! He's four months now, and the picture above epitomizes his personality. He continues to be easy going and super lovable. On the milestone front, he learned to roll over, back to tummy. I'd been filming him whenever he got close for a couple weeks and OF COURSE I didn't get the camera in time for his first roll, but thankfully, Tim got to see it! I was THRILLED Tim was home to witness the moment since he missed all the "firsts" with Addie due to his deployment. Below is a video of the second time Lincoln rolled over.
Lincoln is officially the King of Drool! He must be working on some teeth because he chews on ANYTHING he can and drenches a bib within minutes. We got him the infamous Sophie Giraffe for Easter and he's enjoyed it just as much as Addie did when she was a baby. A couple days ago Lincoln figured out that he can pull his toes into his mouth, so he's been trying to master that skill.  (Addie tries to mimic the toe suck when she sees Lincoln doing it--cute when you're a baby, gross when you're a toddler!)

Lincoln had his four month checkup last week. He weighs 16 pounds (58th percentile) and measures 26 inches long (77th percentile). The doctor prescribed him medicine for severe eczema behind his ears (poor boy) and another for a rash he continues to have on his neck. Other than that, he's a healthy boy. The doctor commented on how "chill" he was while she did her exam. Although I'm extremely thankful for Lincoln's calm demeanor, I'm just as grateful our other kid is a sass-pot. The two strike a perfect balance.
