Happy 6 Months, Adeline!

I'm going to start writing on the below topics when I post Adeline's monthly photos. I lovingly steal this idea from Allie's blog :).

New Discoveries:  Addie figured out rolling over, first from back to tummy and then the other way. She's started to hold out her arms when she wants you (something my mom and granma have been dying for her to do).

Favorites:  She loves Nora (a stuffed lamb dressed in rain gear) whose boots she diligently sucks on and Zoey (a character from Seaseme Street, as Andrew informed me) that occupies her in the car. She also looooves to watch her Praise Baby DVD! Watching the dogs play is another fun thing she enjoys.

Dislikes:  Addie is NOT a fan of being on her tummy. She usually only lasts about 30 seconds before crying. Being held by those she doesn't recognize usually brings screaming cries and tears.

Favorite Memories: Mother's Day! It was such a beautiful day reminiscing on these first months of Addie's life and the pure joy she's brought to our hearts. Another favorite I get to experience every day is Addie's smile in the morning when she sees me. It's the cutest thing you've ever seen! So sweet =).

Routines: Thank God, Addie sleeps through the night (for the most part)! She may wake a couple times to "talk" and toss her head back and forth but falls back asleep in minutes, most times. She wakes up around 6 or 7 A.M.  and then we take a walk with the pups after she eats. For the rest of the day, she eats every three hours (still just breast milk) and naps about every 2-3 hours for 20-90 minutes. During the day we spend time snuggling on the bed, reading books, playing with toys, learning about daddy, talking with daddy (hopefully), running errands, meeting up with friends and family, watching Praise Baby while I cook, praying, and giving Ads a bath. She goes down for the night between 8 and 8:30.
