Happy Eight Months, Lincoln

Our little man is eights months old! I've been experiencing those bitter-sweet feelings lately as Lincoln isn't quite my "baby" anymore. It's exciting to see him grow and advance, but I miss the tiny babe (not that he was ever really tiny) that used to fit neatly in my arms. I'm already sad that my time nursing him is coming to an end in a few months: I breastfed Adeline until she was a year and plan to do the same with Lincoln. Yet, I can't be down too long with that adorable smile! He's starting to give the "scrunchy face" smile that his sister was famous for and I absolutely LOVE it, especially because it reminds me of her as a baby =).

New Discoveries: "scrunchy face" smile, low crawling, giving kisses

Favorites: splashing in the tub, being tickled, being chased while he hold him over our shoulder,

Dislikes: when toys are taken away, diaper changes and getting dressed

Memorable moments: watching Adeline and Lincoln play together in the tub, hearing Lincoln's hearty, contagious laugh, when he lovingly touches my face

Routine: Lincoln wakes up around 7 in the morning. He stays awake for two hours and then naps for 30 minutes to an hour. He nurses every three hours and naps every two hours. Lincoln enjoys eating each meal and loves taking a bath to clean up in the evening. He falls asleep around 7 P.M. and sleeps through the night (hallelujah!).
