Happy One Month

My, how our lives have transformed in the last month! We've gone from gourmet meals, Friday night dates, quick trips to the store (and Dairy Queen), long showers, and sleeping when we wanted to seemingly endless baby feedings, loads of diaper changes, piles of laundry, bits of sleep, frozen meals (thank God for that), doctor visits, and vomit, vomit, vomit. It's amazing how instantly, even though you have nine months to prepare, your life morphs. But of course, we couldn't be more grateful for all these changes, because with those comes Adeline's beautiful smile that melts your heart, watching her angelic face when she sleeps, her little fingers holding your own, nightly story time, the warmth of her cuddling on your chest, and knowing that God has entrusted us with her and her with us. Happy one month to our sweet princess!
