Hello Hubby...and Hawaii!

Wilma and Zu happy to finally nap with Daddy
My hubby is home! This morning I got to pick Tim up from the El Paso Airport (which is surprisingly nice, by the way). He definitely looked sleepy after only getting two hours of rest in a van. He lasted about three hours, through lunch and some vacation planning, before passing out with the pups.  Tim arrived with a very small group, about 5 soldiers, one of whom was his commander; he gave us the go-ahead to book a vacation the last two weeks of June and we didn't wait a moment to make that happen! So, Hawaii here we come! In the next couple of weeks we'll head to Tucson to drop off Zu and Wil and then drive to Phoenix to catch our flight to Honolulu. We'll spend three nights on Oahu and then head to Kauai for the last four nights of our trip. We haven't discussed plans once we're there since it happened so quick and Tim is fast asleep, but I can guarantee we'll partake in massages (a vacation must for us), snorkeling, some light hiking, and lazy days on the beach. This will be our last big trip together before our little one arrives, and I think Hawaii is the perfect destination. When we return to Phoenix we plan on staying in Tucson for a couple days before Tim has to return to work. It'll be a whirlwind, but a needed one!

So jealous!!!! Ya'll have fun! That will be our next big trip. It might be 5 years from now or sooner. Who knows. Definitely want to go there though! Check out Lanikai. My calender is Hawaii right now and a couple of months ago, Lanikai was the picture. OMG! It's total paradise!

Thrilled to have you in Tucson prior to Hawaii and afterwards! This will be a wonderful trip and one you can totally enjoy. It's beautiful and so varied depending on the island you're on. We've been there twice - our honeymoon and to attend a western division choral conference when Tim sang in the HS Honor Choir.
