Home is Where the Heart is

Here's a peek into our new home. I'm mostly done organizing and decorating, but it'll take me a couple more weeks to feel truly settled as I continue to hang pictures and such. I'm challenging myself not to buy a ton of stuff for this home, which is difficult as each home as unique needs...and I love decorating... but I've done pretty well so far. I bought a rug for our living room, a couple bath mats since we have a third bathroom, and some toy boxes for Adeline. By the time Tim gets home, in just TWO weeks, I should be all but finished. I forgot to take pictures of the guest bathroom, but it's nothing out of the ordinary =).

Ashley, once again, you've nailed it! Wow - what a wonderful job you've done decorating. And your photography is excellent! Tim will love it! You are wise not to spend too much energy, money and time on buying things for this beautiful home since you'll be moving on before too long. Each is a new venture! Counting the days! Love, Joan

Well Ashley, my dear, you have once again worked your special magic with your new home. It is spacious, yet cozy, and so warm and inviting. Tim will rub his eyes in amazement and think he is in a dream. What a wonderful Homecoming gift to present to him…I can see initials behind your name soon - ASID and PPA. Professional designers and photographers need to take a lesson or two from you! We are counting the hours until your family is reunited.
