House Hunting

It's that time again, time to find a a new home. I started looking online last week at our options and found a couple prospects. Since we've been to El Paso before, finding a home will be much easier as we're already familiar with the different sides of town. Maybe not easier, but we'll have more confidence in knowing where NOT to live. Last time we lived on the northeast side of town, which is starting to develop...slowly. So, there's not much to do there. A Walmart, Chili's, movie theater, and pizza restaurant were really the only  places we frequented. We had to drive 30 minutes to the east for church and shopping, or 30 minutes to the west for shopping and restaurants. However, Tim only had a 15-20 minutes drive to work. I'd ideally like to live on the west side of El Paso this time around. It's the nicest area of town and everything you need it nearby, except our church. Tim's drive to work would be about 30 minutes. On the east side we'd be right by our church, there are tons of restaurants and shopping, but it's super congested and could take Tim 30-50 minutes to get to and from work depending on traffic. Lastly, we are on the housing list at Ft. Bliss, but there are currently no houses available. We'll see what happens. Decisions, decisions.
