Hurry Up Lil' Man!

I'm not sure we could be more ready for this baby to arrive. Any time now, Dude! However, after my appointment yesterday, it looks like he's just as comfy as can be and not looking to make his exit early (bummer!). He doesn't seem to care that I'm MORE than eager to get him out and start life with him outside the womb. Tim is happy, though, because it means he might get to complete his final exams before the baby comes.

Addie has immensely enjoyed the baby preparation and has managed to try just about everything out for herself, including the bottles =). I've found her in the baby's bed, swing, and rocking chair. She's also been putting her dolly in all the same places, making sure she's swaddled and in a diaper. She reminds me constantly that "baby brudder is coming soon!" I truly thinks she understands that a baby is in my belly and on it's way out any day now. We talk about him all the time and read books about a new baby. Addie and I also created a paper chain that decorated an entire wall about two months ago and she's been pulling off one chain each day as we get closer to his due date. I love that there are only a handful left!
I definitely foresee Adeline being a little Mommy to her brother. She is such a caretaker to her babydoll and enjoys being around other babies. She's also doing quite well with her singing and can help me soothe the baby that way, too. Currently, she knows about ten different songs that she likes to be serenaded by and attempts to sing along with. She does know every word to "Jesus Loves Me" and it absolutely melts my heart when she randomly belts it out during the day. This video of her singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" was taken about a month ago so she's gotten significantly better with the words, but this is still a cute one =).
