Mission Statement

Day 22
At my pregnancy help center training this week, we were asked to memorize the organization's mission statement. The director wants us to know the purpose of the center so we can speak accurately to others who are interested in the services they offer, while not deterring them. She explained that a mission statement is typically longer than can fit on a t-shirt, but short enough that if someone on an elevator asks you what it is, you can tell them by the time you reach the second floor. This got me thinking, what's MY mission statement? If I had to succinctly explain my purpose in life (before I got to the second floor), what would I say?

40 Day Challenge--Day 22:

Write your personal mission statement. Record your purpose in a sentence or two and keep it somewhere special, so you can return to it when needed. When formulating your statement, think about what God calls us to do during our time on Earth, and the unique purpose He has designed just for YOU. If you're uncertain of His purpose for your life, spend time in prayer asking Him to guide you in discerning this message.
