Photograph God's Gifts

Day 23
God surrounds us with moments that have the ability to captivate our hearts. Most of these gifts are in the regular daily occurrences, we just fail to notice them. We need to learn to pause and relish in these moments, despite our busy agendas.

Earlier this week Tim forgot his lunch at home, so as soon as Adeline woke up from her nap I quickly dressed her, prepared her lunch and we jumped in the car to catch him during his lunch break (which isn't a break by any means). Addie wasn't interested in anyone's need to eat, wanting to explore every inch of her dad's office and hangar. Earlier that day, the soldiers were ordered to pull all the Apaches into the hangar due to high winds. We took this opportunity to put Addie in the Apache for the first time. She was only interested in the aircraft for about 30 seconds, but I was able to document the sweet moment between father and daughter. Seeing as these next couple months may be Tim's last as an Apache pilot, we'll cherish these photographs always. A special gift from God that resulted from a simple forgotten lunch.
40 Day Challenge--Day 23:

Take a picture of something that captures your heart today. It can be as simple as a sunset, flower, mountain view, or pet. Or, maybe God's gift to you today is a little more rare, like you child's first helicopter ride =)
