Recovery Process

Giving birth certainly isn't easy, which is common sense, but it's the recovery process that's been more challenging than I anticipated. One of these days (when I have enough energy) I'll blog about my labor experience, but for now my post-partum issues are sucking any additional life out my already sleep-deprived self. One day after we were discharged I headed back to the hospital and was diagnosed with an infection in my uterus--ouch! I was given ten days of antibiotics to take and another medication to help stop the heavy bleeding. Tomorrow is my last day of antibiotics and my symptoms are only getting more severe so I headed back to the OB clinic today. Unfortunately, after  six hours at the hospital the midwife, doctor, and radiologist I saw could not figure out why my symptoms were increasing when my blood work showed the infection was gone and my ultrasound didn't reveal anything out of the norm. The doctor prescribed me another antibiotic in case there is any remaining bacteria and some pain meds. I have a follow up appointment in a couple weeks to see if there are any changes in my condition. Prayers for a quick and full recovery would be greatly appreciated so I can fully enjoy and soothe my little bambini.

Hi Baby,
I know we just talked but I'm saying another prayer to your Gram,so she can pass it on,I got a feeling they (Jesus) is very close with her and they take walks together and while they are walking, your Gram is asking him to talk to his Father(God) and help our little Baby out, because she needs his help to get back to a 100%,which I know she will. I love you and your family with all my heart,Love Dad
