Something's in the Water

Tonight, Tim and I attended a baby shower for the pilot he flew with in Afghanistan and his wife. We were the last ones to the party since we drove home from Tucson tonight and napped a little before going and as soon as we came in people were overwhelmed that there was ANOTHER pregnant woman. There had to be at least seven women at the party who were expecting, and all around the same time. Guess that's how you know you're at a shower for a military spouse. It certainly felt like we were the new generation of baby-boomers. One soldier who just got married remarked that he was glad his new bride wasn't there so she didn't drink whatever's in the water, haha.

On another note, after returning from Hawaii and stepping on the scale, I've finally broken my pre-pregnancy weight...and so has Tim =). We both gained four pounds last week! I guess 9 days of eating out was just what I needed. I'm supposed to be +13 lbs. at this point, so I still have a way to go before I'm on track. Here's to eating more and more and more!
