The Most Important Thing You Can Do (For Your Children)

Day 24
As a relatively new mama, I've heard over and over again that THE most important thing I can do for my child is to pray. And I absolutely believe this advice! When I was still nursing Adeline, her feeding times allowed me the perfect opportunity to pray over her fairly often. Now, I'm missing all that prayer time. I pray for her in the morning when I use my prayer journal, but not too much beyond that. I need to once again set aside time in the day to pray for my child, frequently.  When I am lifting Adeline up to the Lord, the things I pray for most are for her health, salvation, purity, future husband, and that she be radically obedient to God's will for her life. I also prayed for these requests while she was still growing inside of me, because it's never too early to begin praying for your child!

40 Day Challenge--Day 24:

Pray for your child(ren) at least three separate times today. If you do not have children, but plan to one day, complete the same challenge for your future children. If you do not expect to have kids, pray for a child of someone dear to you.
