The Sounds of Easter
Happy Holy Week! I want to share with you the above image created by You Version . Really look at it. The angle from the tomb allows you to feel Jesus as He emerges from his gravesite--about to change the world, forever. The text across this picture is the foundation of my faith and what keeps me motivated each and every day. It's still surreal, after twelve years of believing in Christ, that God sent His one and only Son to die for ME! As I think about God's sacrifice, I can't help but picture the scene of Jesus' torment, death, and resurrection.
The film below, by Igniter Media, presents this true story in a new fashion that I find completely captivating and awakening, by highlighting the audible aspect. We've seen the recreated images over and over, but have you ever really heard it?
This Easter, may you be filled with gratitude and overcome with emotion as you remember the sacrifice God and His Son made for YOU. The Lord has deemed you worthy of eternity in Heaven with Him, no exceptions. Will you choose to believe in Christ and accept this free gift?
If you've never surrendered your life to Jesus and you're ready to do it today, say this simple prayer to God:
I am ready to make you Lord and Savior over my life. I am done doing things my way. I believe that Christ died on the cross to wash me clean of my sins. I believe that He is Your Son and that He rose from the grave. Today, I surrender my life to You, God. Please forgive me of my sins. Show me how to follow, trust, and love You. Help me to obey You the best I know how for all the days of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Whether you accepted Christ today or not, I'd love to help you wherever you are on your journey! Please feel free to contact me with your thoughts or questions. I also highly recommend a free phone call or one-hour counseling session with Focus on the Family, a Christian ministry that can point you to any resource imaginable!

God made you a military wife because He needed you to be His messenger across the country.

Thank you, friend. In my weak moments I have to remind myself of this.
