Yummy Party Idea

2/18/2015

For my family's super bowl party, I offered to bring a fruit tray--a staple at most gatherings. Instead of the typical tray that we're all used to seeing, I decided to make fruit shish kabobs.  After washing the fruit, I separated each type into a designated container and lined the bowls up in the order that the fruit would go on the bamboo stick. I made these once before, arranging the fruit in random fashion, but the plate didn't turn out as appealing. Fruit kabobs are TIME CONSUMING, but if you're heading to a party where presentation is appreciated then I'd say it's worth the extra effort. Plus, pretty food tastes better =).
